What are the benefits of replacing an old boiler?
There are plenty of them! Generally, an old boiler means higher fuel consumption. Older boilers tend to waste a lot of energy, as they are usually over-dimensioned. Exposed pipe work, poor general insulation and insufficient thermal insulation are additional causes of energy waste. As prices for oil and gas continue to rise, this “waste of energy” can be pricey.
